How do you boost your chest voice?

I have no problem hitting inhumane notes in my head voice lol, but i can only hit a C (the one after middle C) in my chest voice. how do i expand my chest voice range. i've also heard that some singers such as idina menzel from Wicked hits those high notes in her head voice, but she has trained her voice to sound like her chest voice. is this true, and if so, how is it accomplished?

How do you boost your chest voice?
It's all about wind. Build up your wind by excersing. That will improve it tremendously. Then just practice until you feel like you can't sing another note. Then let your muscles build back up again. Keep doing this and you will improve over time.
Reply:I know you're gonna think I'm crazy, but this is what did it for me! I used to work in a factory where it was so loud, you couldn't hear the person next to you! I would sing all day long, as loud as I could, and pretended I was an opera singer! No body could hear me! Well , little did I know , that this experience, and all that time I spent singing, increased my chest power, and vocal range! Now I have so much power in my voice, and can get very high notes, sometimes I don't even need a microphone to be heard!

But be careful, always remember, that your vocal chords are a muscle, and you could strain them if you don't build them up gradually!
Reply:A very good way to increase your chest muscles/voice is to learn to play a wind instrument! I play the sax, and you wouldn't believe the improvement in my vocal pitch....good luck!
