My whole life growing up I was a tomboy....I never really cared what I looked like...I felt just plain ugly(also emotional put downs from male family members didn't help)....well now that I am almost 24, a mom, and recently engaged to my wonderful b/f I want to be "pretty" I want to style my hair, do my eyebrows (which are hideous!!!) and just look nice. My confindence is boosted b/c I'm told everyday that I am beautiful (Thanks Baby :)) but now I wanna look the part....so any ideas on how I can go from tomboy to WOW?????

Well for the whole eye brow thing, you should go get them waxed, ask someone that works there for assistance and they should know what fits you the best since theyre professionals.
For make up I'd say skip the foundation and anything that'll clog your pores and make you break out, and go for a simple eye shadow that best matches your skin tone, add some brown eye liner, and a few coats of black mascara.
For your lips I'd say go for the lip gloss thats closest to your skin color and add some clear lip gloss for extra shine!
Clothes are a little harder to determine for you since I have no idea what you look like but I definitely suggest you go for a nice peasant skirt, and a beautiful top that will compliment the skirt and some flats that match.
Or you can try dresses, a nice sleeveless dress with a thick belt in the middle and cute stilettos.
For your hair I suggest going to a hair stylist and asking for something that will really make you stand out!

I would start with the eyebrows. Go to a salon and have those babies waxed. While your there look at the style books and find a hairstyle that resembles what you already have or what you like if your wanting a change there to. I found the most success with a blowdryer and a big round brush. My hair is a little past my shoulders so i like to flip it out.
Makeup - Wear your make up light. Do neutral colors. Find you some glossy lipstick - pinks
As far as clothing I like to wear capris and skirts alot. Nothing skanky though. I like skirts a little above the knee. I hope this helps. I was a tomboy all of my childhood also. I didn't really grow out of it until high school.

2. Wear makeup (and make it look natural)
3. Wear cute skirts with bright, fun colors
4. Carry a really pretty purse
5. Do your hair with glittery clips, or get curls and highlights (whatever you would like best)
6. Paint your nails in feminine pretty colors or get them done at a nail salon.
7. Wear lots of jewelry (preferably diamonds)
Reply:go to walmart get a nice out fit the shows off your legs and little bit of bust and go to a salon and get your hair and nails and have them do your eyebrows and makeup this way when you get home this way when you get home he can see how beautiful he always knew you are

* wear natural looking makeup so you don't look too overdone like: foundation, ligh brownzer, lipgloss and a littl emascara goes a long way!
*get a new haircut, dye your hair or get highlights
* if you have acne or oily skin purchase oily skin blotting papers

etc. They have some gilry clothes. I'm not shure if ya will like tehm but just try some of those stores. Ur makeup depends also too. Well i hope ya come out as a pretty ladi!! =]

Reply:have you ever tried going to an marykay they could certainly tell or teach how to do your make up and treat yourself to a great hair salona nd get your nails done go somewhere that has great style so you know u can trust that they knowwhat they are doing
Reply:Aww congradulations!! Welllll, to start you could have your eyebrows waxed if you don't know how to clean them up yourself. It isn't too expensive most places. Depending on how you hair is just make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner that is made for your hair type. I would say go minimal on the makeup but I don't wear any sooo I'm a little bias on that side. Don't cake it on and don't wear dark eyeliner if you do wear makeup. Most of the time some lipgloss and maybe a little blush will look really nice and fresh. You could go to a place like Forever 21 that's not too expensive and purchase a few flirty tops and maybe a summery dress or two to get you off to a good start. Also, if you aren't completely opposed to heels, small ones, they can really polish off an outfit. Also, little touches like jewlrey can really make the different.
