Hi, are there any kind of vitamins that I can take to help boost my immune system?

Would it be a vitamin C kind or something?

Hi, are there any kind of vitamins that I can take to help boost my immune system?
Vitamins are better if they come from natural sources like fruits and vegetables eat 5 different plants every day.
Reply:yeah I was going to say C helps
Reply:i take omega 3 fish oils, magnesium and vitamin b complex and vitamin c
Reply:Vitamin C helps boost immunity against some allergies and cold viruses. It works with about 50% of those that use it. The only real good C is ESTER C. Linus Pauling(it's inventor)is the only person in the world to win two nobel peace prices.
Reply:Vitaminshoppe is all over the states, and they offer various types of supplements for that,and u can choose to buy according to your budget. u may visit their website at www.vitaminshoppe.com

Reply:nothing can boost your immune system better than garlic.

* Lower total cholesterol (but raise the good-type HDL cholesterol)

* Produce more "natural killer" cells in the blood that will tackle infections and tumours

* Lower blood pressure

* Reduce the risk of blood clots (that are responsible for most heart attacks and strokes)

* Destroy infection causing viruses and bacteria

* Reduce the risk of certain cancers, in particular, stomach cancers.

* Garlic is best eaten raw. Cooking can destroy some of the "allicin" compound which is responsible for the powerful healing effects of garlic.
