Got the "Beltway Blues"? I do! This whole line-up of candidates is D.C. to the core!!! Why not an outsider?

Cali has had pretty good luck with actors as governors. The Oval Office got a boost from R. Reagan. We're looking, for this election year, at leaving the white, male stereotypical candidate, anyway. So I say, why not the Cos?!

Who would like to write in William Cosby for pres? Would he fit Lou Dobbs description of an "Independent Populist"?

What would his position be on things like immigration, the troops, Osama, education, federal assistance of local police and education (vouchers?), ...

How would he deal with the Congress?

Most importantly, would he support an amendment for a "Collective Conscience Veto" of the people, requiring that every bill be submitted to the people for review and that we, the people be empowered to veto any item of it?

Your thoughts?

Got the "Beltway Blues"? I do! This whole line-up of candidates is D.C. to the core!!! Why not an outsider?
He has his finger on the pulse of the nation and has proved he ani't shy. He could do the deal and theywould respect him, let's get him in the deal.
Reply:I heard an interview with a political analyst who insisted that the process works, well, sort of.

He poo-ed the idea of "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" as naive.

But public figures like Bill Cosby have lots of experience in public relations. So, I think he'd be as capable as most who participated in the last debate.

Why not?!
