How do I boost my immune system?

I get colds and strep throat all the time during the winter. I take vitamin C every day so why do I keep getting sick and how do I stop from getting sick?

How do I boost my immune system?
Exercise,Control Weight,Eat Healthy Foods Year Around!
Reply:There are several things you can do to boost your immune system and prolong your life. There is a nationwide campaign, Bacteria for Breakfast, that promotes eating yogurt every morning. Yogurt contains healthy bacteria that help your immune system function at the optimal level. Also, brush your teeth twice a day and floss at least twice a week. Wash your hands often with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds. Antibacterial soap only works if you leave it in contact with the bacteria long enough...I say the ABCs while I wash to remind me to stay there long enough. Take a multiple vitamin, not just vitamin C. Drink 64 ounces of water daily and exercise 30 minutes 3 times a week. Try to get at least 7 hours of sleep every night. If you smoke or drink, cut back on these activities. Best of luck to you!
Reply:Hi! You can also take multivitamins in addition to your vit. C, maybe the food you're eating has not enough nutrients. Take a lot of rest and take precautionary measures like getting a flu shot. In case of strep throat, consult your doctor to prevent complication.
Reply:theres this fruit you can eat that is so amazing that you will almost ever get sick from colds.... but its only in Brazil, its small, and i forgot the name of it and i've looked for it online, and they only have the powder form of it, dont know how good that will help but i havent tried it.... i wanted the original fruit... guess they dont sell it here in america.... too rare or something....

it has the same special things as oranges... (btw, incase u didnt know, oranges help u from getting colds) but this fruit is like 20 times more healthy and effective then an orange... expensive i think...

so i guess ur stuck with an orange... it helps i think.... or so i've heard.... oh yeah, and keep fit, that always helps, good luck..
