What's the difference between Maths A, Maths B %26amp; Maths C at high school? I know that they are all based in difference areas %26amp; concepts but now very little about what it is each strand is based on. I'm currently in year 10 (Year 12 is my last year at high school) %26amp; am considering my options for my future, most likely in a scientific/(normal or alternative) medical field, but definitely not engineering %26amp; am not sure which maths subjects would be helpful.
Are the following statements true or are they myths? I'm fairly sure the second part is true:
I've also heard that Maths A is the easiest %26amp; Maths C the hardest, %26amp; that Maths C boosts your O.P the most (Overall Position, kind of like SAT over here in Australia).
Thank you for all your help %26amp; consideration, it really is putting my ming at rest.

At my high school there was C.P. (college prep.), Honors, AB, and BC. I think this would relate to your A, B, and C. Making my C.P. your A, Honors = B, etc. I took the AB route and am seeking a degree in engineering. If you are not looking to continue with a math related field I would suggest the B. If you want to go into physics or another mathematical field, I would suggest the C.
