How do i boost my grades up?
You still have time to bring your grades up by the end of the year. The best way is to flat out commit - and that means by focusing and doing all of your homework, studying for tests, and being prepared and on top of the material in class. When you get home at night, don't go straight to the computer or TV - do a little HW and you'll feel better right away. Maybe take a few short breaks but nothing longer than 20 or 30 minutes. Create rewards for yourself and set goals, like "after I do my math and social studies assignments, I'll spend 20 minutes watching TV" or something. Make sure you understand the material you're doing in school, as one of the best ways to bring your grade up is to show the teacher that you understand what you're learning and are in control of your work. Participate in class; make comments and answer questions. And while studying for tests, sometimes the best way is to completely isolate yourself and study for chunks of time (with rewards in between!). Start studying early so that you don't have to cram at the end. Different people are different types of learners - figure out what kind of learner you are (for example, visual learner, etc.) and study in the ways you know will benefit you the most.
Yes, school is hard and can be no fun, but remember, summer is on its way! Hang in there :)
