I live close by and the only suggestion I can give you is to call a few local Car Custom shops and ask them if they can give you info on who they use to do mechanical upgrades. The big one around where I live in Gastonia is CS Motorsports. Their website is www.gofastlookgood.com. As far as price, assuming you provide the engine, the swap will probable run in the 1K range or more.

The Chargers trade for C.Chambers? Was it a waste ? Or does he need more time with the offense?

Is Chris Chambers is a good wr ending up in all the wrong place? This guy was supposed to boost the Chargers offense some.

A waste considering they have an average QB at best in Rivers and their offense is geared around Tomlinson. Rivers has the ugliest throwing motion I've ever seen on a QB and his arm strength is highly suspect.
Reply:You try learning an NFL teams playbook in 2 weeks and see how good you do the 1st time up.

He will come around. Look at how long it took Rivers to learn the new offensive scheme.
Reply:Rivers is not a good pro QB. He doesn't see the field or read defenses. He also never checks down, and tries to squeeze it into Gates on every play.
Reply:Its not chambers the o line sucks this year and the mighty d is suffering also
Reply:well chris chambers has theability to be the best wide reciever in the game, but the chargers aren't even using him! give him back to the dolphins!

Does any drink Emercen-C?

How does it make you feel? Do you feel a difference when you drink it? Does it give you an energy boost or what does it do for you?

Does any drink Emercen-C?
I love that stuff, i drink the tangerine kind in orange juice every morning and i don't get sick as much as I used to. I just prevents you from getting sick like any other vitamin tablet would, but this tastes really good.
Reply:It is great! You can never get enough vitamins
Reply:No, not really. If your depleted in this or any other vitamins, it might help you. I'd put my money on a multi-vitamin first. If you deciede to try the "c", it wont hurt and its very inexpensive.
Reply:I love it It gives me energy

2 questions about B.C pills and being RH negative?

ok first question is ...Is there a birth control pill that doesnt prevent pregnacy? It would just give you a boost of hormones? My body doesn't produce enough ive been told and they keep saying birth control but then they tell me its birth control but it does the oppisite and puts more of the hormones you need in you. So does that mean it wont prevent pregnacy? Also it won't cause weight gain like those that do prevent you would it?

Second question.....

If i'm A- ....same as RH negative..whatever you want to call it. That means i'm basically screwed right? In the future when i will want children if the guy isnt rh negative then i wont be able to have a child unless i get those really painful shots?

is this completely true? Or is there another option, any pills that i could take that would have the same affect?

2 questions about B.C pills and being RH negative?
The birth control pill will regulate the hormones in your system getting them in proper balance.

If you are RH (neg) and you had a child with a man who was RH (pos) you would have to have the shots - one time. There is no other option. Without it the baby will not survive.
Reply:Just because you are RH negative doesn't mean anything. What happens when you are pregnant, you have to get a RhoGham shot, because you're RH negative. Sure it burns, but when you're prego you get used to needles. Another thing, after you deliver the baby, if your child is born RH positive, then you have to get the RhoGham shot within 72 hours of delivery. This is because of the blood mixing during delivery. I am O- and I have three children, so I am used to this procedure. Don't get all worried about this, it is part of life. Hope this answered your question.
Reply:You will need to get 2 injections if you're RH- and the father is RH-, this is done to save your life and your baby's. If your baby is RH-, then you will only get one shot, if they are + you will have to get another shot after they're born, but if you have an IV from the child birth, they would just put the medicine in there rather than giving you another shot. The needles don't hurt that bad, I had to have 3 of them cause the nurse messed up on the first one and didn't give me enough. Trust me, if you're planning on having a baby, you better get ready to get more than just 2 needles, the whole pregnancy you are getting your blood tested for all sorts of things so time to tough up girl!! :o) I hated needles too but I've had so many lately that they don't even phaze me anymore.

The bc pill should regulate your hormones but all of them are made to prevent you from getting pregnant. Perhaps there is a hormone replacement pill such as estrogen or just the progesterone that can help you with your hormone problems but keep you fertile and ready to have a baby. Can you go without the pills and use a different form of contraceptive?? Maybe the pill is what's screwing you up??

How much vitamin C is too much? And why?

I've seen that 2000mg is the max, but no explanation as to why, when the very guy who discovered its effects took 9x that, daily. I've had an on/off cold/sore throat going on for way too long and have decided to majorly boost my immune system. So how much do you think I should have?

How much vitamin C is too much? And why?
A normal daily dose is about 500mg - 1000mg, and overdosing yourself with vitamin C to cure a cold wont cure anything. Here is why : Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin which means your body doesnt store it in your fat reserves it is desolved in the water within your body so when your body has enough vitamin C and cannot store it it simply exits your body by passing through your urine....so if you take too much your wasting it really !
Reply:An overdose of Vitamin C is likely impossible. Too much will cause an upset stomach, but that's about all. Your body will absorb what it needs. and you will pee the rest out.

Reply:Vitamin C naturally is probably impossible to overdose on. You can take suppliments which makes it much easier to do. The overdose is actually an immunity. You can become immuned to Vitamin C, which will require you to take a larger dose unless you want something like skurvy. My guess is that 100 times the daily allowance would start to get into that realm.
Reply:Vitamin C is water soluble and so there technically is no maximum amount that you can take. However as with any supplement it is not good to take more than recommended.

( note that this advise should not be a substitue for a physician)
Reply:I used to be big on Vit-C (and still am) but here's what I found.

2,000 mg is about the max and that's because of something called Hypervitaminosis C (That basically means "The Condition of Having Too Much Vitamin C"). The worst I've heard are Kidney Stone Formation (nephrolithiasis) as to what it would cause. So if I thought it'd work, I'd tell you to go for it as long as you didn't mind the potential risk of nepholithiasis.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant (which means it negates free radicals, which are harmful), but it's really an antioxidant for the fruit, not the human body.

Still to this day, when I get my VERY first sign of a cold or some sort of sickness, I make a concoction I like to call the Vitamin-C booster. I take one pomegranate, two oranges, two lemons, and a lime. I cut them in half and juice them (if it's not pomegranate, just use pomegranate juice - make sure it's organic and no high fructose corn syrup is added). that will yield about a cup of REAL ASCORBIC ACID (~aka Vitamin C).

The best thing to BOOST your immune system is Echinacea. But you can't take it to make you feel better when you're sick. It's used to increase your immunity strength but it's effects are not immediate.

For now, if you're sick, try "black elderberry root extract" - the effects are nearly immediate.

GET WELL SOON
Reply:You should not take more than what is recommended on a vitamin supplement bottle -- and only take one type of supplement at a time. As far as foods go, you will just pee any excess out.
Reply:Linus Pauling MD thinks it's OK to megadose vit C. It is water soluble, therefore you will pee out any excesses. The vitamins that can be toxic because they build up in you fat cells includes vitamins ADEK. But even vit B6 can hurt nerves a little if taken in too high doses for too long. Remember to confirm this type of info with your doctor.
Reply:If I have too much I get Cold sores- Its best to stick to the recommened dosage- 2000 mg is a lot and no need to go for more..
Reply:500 Mg is enogh or little more exept You need for any particular reason as after surgery. If you generally take more that 500 Mg daily, it goes out by pissing and with the other outlet. Still it is not recommended to take excess. Ok .
Reply:if you continually take 1000mg for more each day for over 5 days, you put yourself at increased risk for kidney stones. which are way worse than a cold. if you have an ongoing cold, for more than 10 days, see your health care provider - you could have mono, strep, or a sinus infection.

The drink 'Emergen-C', does anyone know if it actually works?

This vitamin drink has been everywhere lately. Commercials, papers... everywhere. Does anyone have any experience with it? Does it really give a boost? It's supposed to be better than 'RedBull'... What are your thoughts/experiences? Have you heard anything about it? It doesn't sound like a bad drink, I just tend to be a tad skeptical about things like this. If anyone knows anything, please share. I thank you.

I am a flight attendant and my fellow co-workers and I always carry this stuff around with us. It is so easy to use (just pour into water and stir) It also helps with the immune system as well as give you an extra burst of energy. I like them and I take them along with Airborne..the alkazeltzer like tablet that is great for the immune system as well. I would recommend Emergen-C for that little pick me upper and they come in all different flavors too! Not expensive either..give it a try and see for yourself. :)
Reply:It is an expensive way to get some extra vitamin c.
Reply:I dont know from experience but my ex boyfriend lived on it.. two every morning.. he said that it gave him more energy and made his mood better... I am pretty sure its better for you than a red bull.. it is loaded with vitamins...

Is emergen-c safe for cardiology patients?

and does it actually boost your energy?

Is emergen-c safe for cardiology patients?
It's just vitamin C, although some of their varieties contain other supplements too.

Just to be sure that they don't interfere with any other medications you are on, check with your pharmacist and doctor.
Reply:Doesnt seem to hurt, doesnt help either.
