hi, i ran across this question in a lab i am doing and i wondered why vitamin c boosts protection against uv rays (im assuming this is true because that is what my results tell me )

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and helps fight the free radicals in the environment...How ever not all vitamin Cs are =...be sure you are using something with a "L-ascorbic acid" like Skin Ceuticals c+E Freulic or www.skinceuticals.com
